I was elated when I received these - they are so beautiful! And I was impressed from the fact they arrived so well packed with plastic tubes guarding the posts. But when I took off the plastic tubes I understood there is a problem - the posts are very soft wire and they move and lose shape. You have to take extra care with it.
These are not earrings I can decorate and sell - I will have to give them to someone I know, and warn and apologize concerning the fragility.

Later on I wanted to attach them and opened the ring - now I see the description says it is closed, but it is actually open - nevertheless, I recommend to use it as a closed one because of the softness of the wire here to. It opened easily but the wire twisted on itself. I had to maneuver to bring it back to its shape.

Concerning measurements -
Width of the oval is 8 mm (not 9)
Length of the oval is 11mm
Length of ring is 3 mm
The posts are 0.7 mm (not 0.8) in my measurements with a non digital caliper. Just from the measurement with the caliper the post received dents in it...

Another thing to note is that the post sits on the upper part of the earring, so:
1.Part of the earring goes under the ear lobe - that's a matter of preference.
2.The earring doesn't quite sit firmly and is dragged down ( although my pendant is very light) and the ear piercing is revealed. Maybe the ear pushers should be reinforced.

I would conclude - unreliable though very beautiful earring.
I wish they would just improve that faulty softness of material.
